Breaking: OAK COMPANY Terminates BE BOYS Member Takuma's Contract, Plans Legal Action Over His Refusal to Return cover

OAK COMPANY has terminated BE BOYS member Takuma’s exclusive contract effective today, accusing him of unilaterally refusing to return to team activities after his vacation leave ended.

According to the original discussion on r/kpop, which linked to an official notice posted by the company on the BE BOYS community board on October 6 at 11:00 KST, the label said it had spent recent weeks working toward an amicable resolution with the artist’s side.

The notice says the company received a settlement proposal from Takuma’s camp and responded with a compromise plan that accounted for the group’s upcoming comeback schedule — but got no reply. On September 29, OAK issued a formal final notice setting a last deadline for his return and dialogue, and that deadline passed without any response.

The company said it has “finally determined” that Takuma has no intention of continuing team activities, and terminated the contract after careful deliberation. It added that it will strictly pursue legal proceedings over the damages caused by what it described as his unilateral refusal to return and breach of contract.

BE BOYS will move forward as a five-member group. OAK said the group will continue comeback preparations without disruption and that the remaining members are holding their ground.

The company closed its statement by bowing in apology to fans for the concern caused and asking for continued support for the remaining members. No response from Takuma’s side has been reported so far.
