Yoo Seung Ho’s first public dating rumor in 26 years ended with a plot twist just two hours later.
According to an exclusive Edaily report on the morning of October 8th, the actor and actress Lim Se Joo had been in a relationship for six years. The two reportedly met while working on the tvN drama “Memorist,” which aired in March 2020, and later developed into a romantic relationship.
Sightings of the pair walking Yoo Seung Ho’s dog together and enjoying dates in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, added weight to the rumors.
The news drew extra attention because Yoo Seung Ho, who debuted as a child actor in 2000, had never faced a public dating rumor in his entire 26-year career, keeping his private life closely guarded under public scrutiny since childhood.
But the follow-up came fast. About two hours after the report, an agency representative for Lim Se Joo’s agency Moving Pictures Company confirmed: “After speaking with actress Lim Se Joo, it is true that she dated actor Yoo Seung Ho for six years, but they have recently broken up.”
Yoo Seung Ho’s agency, 333 Entertainment, also confirmed the split: “The two actors were in a relationship but are now separated and remain good colleagues.”
The two reportedly parted ways about a month ago, though the exact timing of the breakup has not been disclosed. No further statements have been issued by either side.
