NiziU just picked up their first-ever music show trophy. The group took first place for “Sour Grapes” on MBC M’s Show Champion on October 7, 2026, a milestone win for the nine-member act.
According to the original discussion, the win was announced on the October 7 broadcast of Show Champion, with NiziU beating out the week’s competition to claim the top spot with their latest single.
The post, which went up on r/kpop within hours of the broadcast, confirms the win happened on the same day as the recording’s title date — October 7, 2026 — making the news fresh as it hit the subreddit.
No official statement from the group’s representatives was available at the time of the post, and no detailed vote breakdown or acceptance speech details appeared in the thread.
A first music show win is a career landmark for any K-pop group, and NiziU’s milestone with “Sour Grapes” marks a new chapter for the act as they continue their latest promotion cycle.
With one trophy now in hand, all eyes will be on whether NiziU can keep the momentum going into this week’s remaining music shows.
