Oh Se Young is living two lives — and trying very hard to keep them separate.
According to Soompi, the upcoming romance drama “What a Boss Wants” has released new stills of Oh Se Young as Lee Eun Chae, a job seeker who dreams of becoming a singer. By day she is an ordinary office employee; by night she is the lead vocalist of an indie band — and her family has no idea about either life.
The stills capture the contrast. In one set, she sets her difficult reality aside and prepares to take the stage, dressed in a striking red dress with a microphone in hand. In another, she is all business: wearing an employee ID badge at the workplace, her expressions hinting at the chaotic office life waiting for her.
Based on a web novel of the same name, “What a Boss Wants” follows Kwon Do Hyuk (Sung Hoon), a chaebol boss with zero sense of taste who sets out to find the woman whose voice he heard on an album. That woman is Lee Eun Chae — who somehow ends up becoming an employee at Kwon Do Hyuk’s company, Oh Yes Entertainment.
The production team commented, “Please look forward to seeing how long Lee Eun Chae can keep her precarious double life a secret from her family.”
“What a Boss Wants” premieres on November 11 at 10:20 p.m. KST.
