SISTAR’s Soyou has given fans a look inside her spacious home — and her surprisingly hands-on cleaning routine. In a YouTube video uploaded on October 5, titled “Cleaning? I Just Woke Up..? Favorite Cleaning Items at Home,” the singer walks viewers through the chores she still does herself.
According to Koreaboo’s report, Soyou said the idea came after she previously posted cleaning tip clips, with the production team suggesting a full cleaning video.
Starting at the entrance, she organized shoes and cleared dust from the floor, noting, “I’ve heard that if the entrance is clean, it brings good fortune.”
Soyou revealed that a cleaning helper comes twice a week, but she still handles plenty herself. “Since the house is quite spacious, it’s hard to do everything in one day, so sometimes cleaning is split up,” she explained, adding that she personally takes care of visible spots. In the bathroom, she said, “Since the house is big, it can be hard for the auntie to do it alone. I take care of the small, annoying spots myself.”
The singer previously shared that stock investments helped her buy the house. About 10 years ago, she put around ₩100 million KRW (about $74,600 USD) into Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix shares to learn about investing — and when she later prepared to move, her mother brought up that money, giving her the chance to purchase the home.
