Lisa shared the photos on her Instagram account (@lalalalisa_m), and Korean outlets picked up several of the shots, focusing on the revealing nature of some of the outfits. When the photos were republished in articles, the response from some Korean netizens was swift and harsh.
“She’s not a normal singer. Kids are watching this too, but she seriously has an obsession with exposing herself. Is she an adult-entertainment performer? She looks like someone dancing at a nightclub,” one Nate commenter wrote. Another added, “Looks like she and Jennie are having a competition over who can show more skin.” A third called the styling “cheap-looking,” while one commenter claimed that idols leaving BLACKPINK “have no choice but to compete by relying on their bodies.”
According to the original report, the criticism has been concentrated among Korean netizens, while Lisa’s international fanbase has largely pushed back against the commentary.
