KickFlip’s Kyehoon took over episode 236 of Leemujin Service, the KBS music web show, performing a set of four covers that showcased his vocal range across genres.
Released on October 6, the episode features Kyehoon singing his own track “Puzzle Piece” alongside covers of “NO PAIN” by Silica Gel, “It’s Love” by Mose, and “Vancouver 2” by BIG Naughty. The appearance was shared on r/kpop, where the episode quickly drew attention from fans of both Kyehoon and the bands he covered.
Leemujin Service, hosted by singer Lee Mu-jin, has become a go-to stop for idols wanting to prove their live vocals, and episode 236 puts Kyehoon in that spotlight. Tackling material from rock band Silica Gel, R&B singer Mose, and rapper BIG Naughty in a single sitting is an ambitious pick, and fans in the thread praised the range on display.
No official statement accompanied the episode beyond the upload itself, but the performance adds to Kyehoon’s growing reputation as one of KickFlip’s go-to vocalists for live stages.
The episode is available now on YouTube. Fans are already asking which covers from the set deserve a full studio version next.
