BOYNEXTDOOR’s Sungho is facing backlash over a comment made to fellow member Woonhak.
According to Koreaboo, a clip circulating from the group’s YouTube content shows Riwoo explaining that when he and Sungho first saw Woonhak on his first day, Sungho told him, “The debut is ruined.”
The comment drew a harsh reaction once Korean netizens began sharing it. Posting on Instiz, netizens wrote, “Oh my god, that’s too much… That must have really hurt,” and “Is this their own content? Did they seriously put this out for the fans to watch for fun??;;”
One commenter added, “Why are they acting like that?” while another said, “if this had been my ult group, there would’ve been absolute chaos.”
Much of the anger was aimed not only at the comment itself but at the group for including the clip in content released for fans to watch.
No official statement from BOYNEXTDOOR, KOZ Entertainment, or HYBE was included in the report.
BOYNEXTDOOR are a boy group under KOZ Entertainment and HYBE.
