Thai actor Tongtong Kitsakorn Kanogtorn has issued a public apology after accidentally posting — and quickly deleting — an Instagram story showing a woman in bed.
According to Koreaboo’s report, the actor posted the story on October 5. Taken from a low angle, the photo showed the back of a person with long hair, with bedsheets visible at the edges. He deleted it shortly after, but backlash followed.
In his apology, translated from his original Thai statement, Tongtong confirmed the photo was real but said it came from a period of his life that had already ended. He wrote, “I admit it was my fault for posting that photo,” and apologized to his “NOUR” co-star Boss (Patthakarn Thanasiriudom) and fans for any disappointment they may have felt.
No further details about the circumstances of the photo were shared. No official statement from his agency was available in the report.
Known mononymously as Tongtong, Kitsakorn Kanogtorn has been acting for a decade, debuting in “Bang Rak Soi 9/1” and later starring in “To Sir, with Love” and “4 The Elements.” He was recently cast in his first-ever lead role in the BL series “NOUR,” which premiered on August 26 alongside Boss and introduced many viewers to him for the first time.
The Instagram story has been deleted, and Tongtong’s statement remains his only comment on the incident so far.
