BTS’s Jimin has become the target of a wave of harsh online comments after new photos with his fellow members circulated on social media.
According to a Koreaboo report published October 5, members Jungkook, V, J-Hope, and Jimin surprised fans by posting two new photos on the group’s X account — an update that hadn’t come in a long time. When the photos were re-shared by the X account @AboutMusicYT on October 4, reactions split: many fans couldn’t hide their excitement about the rare group update, while others left cutting remarks about the members’ visuals.
Jimin appeared to draw the bulk of the criticism, with commenters taking cruel jabs at his appearance in the photos. The tone of the replies stood in sharp contrast to the celebratory mood of fans who simply welcomed seeing the four together.
Four members posing together in fresh photos is a rare enough event to trend on its own, which may explain why the re-shared post pulled in such a wide — and not entirely friendly — audience.
No official statement was available. The photos remain on the group’s X account, where the original post continues to draw attention.
