i-dle main vocal Miyeon is showing off her chameleon-like charm in a brand-new set of profile photos, and the timing has fans talking.
According to a TV Report piece published via Naver’s entertainment wire, Cube Entertainment posted Miyeon’s new profile images on the group’s official account on the 12th. The set runs through several concepts: a shirt-and-bob-cut look described as natural yet sophisticated, a black-and-white portrait carrying a calm, mature mood, and a white mini-dress cut radiating a lovely, fresh energy.
Miyeon serves as main vocal and visual of the five-member girl group i-dle. The group released its ninth mini album ‘We made’ this year and wrapped its fourth world tour, ‘2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation]’. Miyeon also released her second solo mini album ‘MY, Lover’ last year, building a name as a solo artist beyond group activities.
Acting is the next frontier. She has appeared in web dramas ‘Replay: The Moment It Starts Again’ and ‘Delivery’ as well as TVING’s ‘Adult Trainee’, and she is confirmed to headline the new drama ‘Cheongdam International High School: Royal Camp’ as Cha Se-mi, the school’s new power figure and “queen.”
The outlet notes the photos arrive weeks after a September controversy, when a health checkup video of Miyeon on the channel ‘Jeondosa’ drew a medical-law complaint filed with the Yongsan-gu public health center over unfiltered footage of the hospital’s name, facilities, staff and the procedure itself. The production team said it received no sponsorship or ad fees from the clinic and paid for the checkup itself, and scenes showing the hospital name were later blurred.
A former YG Entertainment trainee once mentioned as a BLACKPINK debut-lineup candidate, Miyeon moved to Cube and debuted with the group in 2018. With a major drama lead now locked in, her profile season looks like a deliberate reset of the spotlight.
