INFINITE vocalist Nam Woo-hyun is keeping the teaser machine rolling for his second solo full-length album ‘2X8,’ unveiling the latest concept photo ahead of the album’s October 14 release.
According to the original discussion on r/kpop, the image is the fourth installment in the album’s ongoing concept photo series. His agency Billions has been releasing the sets through official social media channels, with the earlier drops arriving in late September.
The numbers are already locked in: ‘2X8’ is set for release on October 14 at 6 p.m. KST across online music platforms, with a countdown live broadcast scheduled for the same day. The 16-track album is led by the title track ‘DEVIL’ and even features a collaboration with his own group, INFINITE.
For context, this is a milestone record. ‘2X8’ marks the 10th anniversary of Nam’s solo debut and his first full-length album in about three years, following ‘WHITREE’ from November 2023. He also took part in writing, composing, and arranging every song on the record.
Nam debuted in 2010 as the main vocalist of INFINITE and launched his solo career in 2016 with the EP ‘Write..,’ building a reputation as a hands-on singer-songwriter — he wrote and composed all five tracks on his fifth EP ‘Tree Ring,’ released in July 2025.
With one week left until release day, ‘2X8’ is shaping up to be his most personal full-length project yet.
