Kim So Hyun and Choo Young Woo are about to collide in ENA’s new romance drama “Between Steps.” The network released stills of the leads’ fateful first encounter ahead of the October 5 premiere at 10 p.m. KST.
The drama comes from the late director Ahn Pan Seok (“Something in the Rain,” “One Spring Night,” “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon”), as reported by Soompi on October 4. It follows Park Min Jae (Choo Young Woo), a former swimmer who lost his right leg due to illness, and Im Yoo Jin (Kim So Hyun), a graduate student finding a new path.
In the new stills, Park Min Jae spots Im Yoo Jin after she falls in the street and rushes over, worry written across his face. He kneels before her and carefully explains something as she meets his gaze. But the next photo tells a different story: Im Yoo Jin glares coldly at Park Min Jae in front of the police station — leaving viewers to wonder what happened.
The production team teased, “From the very first episode, [our drama] will depict the stories of young people with relatable yearnings. Please keep an eye on the start of the journey of Park Min Jae and Im Yoo Jin being drawn to one another.”
“Between Steps” marks a fresh pairing for Kim So Hyun and Choo Young Woo under Ahn Pan Seok’s direction.
