Actress Nam Bo-ra is balancing motherhood and work just four months after giving birth. On October 8, she posted a mirror selfie on Instagram captioned “working mom,” adding in the text, “earning the milk money hard again today.” The post showed her looking much the same as before her pregnancy, drawing attention from fans.
Nam, born in 1989, married a businessman her age in May 2025 and welcomed her son on June 15, 2026. She had shared her journey toward a natural birth on KBS2’s “Fun-Staurant,” but a checkup just before her due date showed almost no amniotic fluid remaining. “Natural birth and induced labor were both impossible. I was told the baby could be in danger if we delayed, so I had an emergency C-section,” she explained at the time.
She recently celebrated her son Kongal’s 100th day with family — a gathering of nearly 20 people from both sides. The guest of honor, however, fell asleep the moment the photos were done. “It ended up being a 100-day party without Kongal, but the families had a great time,” she said.
Looking back while setting out the celebration table, she admitted she got emotional remembering the sleepless nights of round-the-clock feedings. “Kongal, who has grown healthily for 100 days — I’m so proud of him. We’ve been tapping each other on the shoulder, saying we did well,” she wrote.
Nam first became known in 2005 on MBC’s “Sunday Night – Chorus of Angels” as the eldest of a large family, debuted in the 2006 KBS2 sitcom “Smiling Face,” and drew attention in 2008 on KBS1’s “Human Theater” documenting her 13-sibling household. She later starred in “Sunny,” “The Moon Embracing the Sun,” “Shark,” and “Live Your Own Life.”
No official statement was available on her upcoming projects.
