Tablo has pulled the plug on the “Hey Tablo” North American tour cameos and an associated episode, following a messy on-stage fan vote that left at least one concertgoer — and much of the audience — confused about who actually won.
According to the original discussion on r/kpop, VIP Tier 1 and 2 ticketholders at the North American shows were given a chance to be picked for a cameo in content. Tablo narrowed the field to two fans and asked the crowd to cheer as votes — then flip-flopped between the two choices and stretched the segment out far longer than fans thought it should go.
Fan 1 reportedly won the cheer vote, then lost a rock-paper-scissors round to Fan 2 — after which Epik High picked Fan 2 themselves, according to one attendee’s account. Another fan who attended said she thought she had been chosen multiple times during the back-and-forth. TikTok clips from the show were hard to hear, which only deepened the confusion about what had actually happened.
“Makes sense why Fan 1 was upset,” one fan wrote. “Why bother doing the games if they were going to ignore the outcome and pick someone else.”
The thread did not include the exact wording of Tablo’s announcement, and no official statement beyond the cancellation itself was available.
For now there is no word on what, if anything, will replace the canceled cameos and episode.
