CLOSE YOUR EYES just dropped a live band take on “Drop That!” — and it’s worth your two minutes. The seven-member group visited it’s Live for a full-band performance of the track, posted to YouTube on October 5 and already making the rounds on r/kpop.
According to the original discussion on r/kpop, the clip is labeled a “Band Live Ver.” — meaning this isn’t the standard studio recording, but a reworked performance with a live band backing the group. The video’s tag list marks it as the 256th session (“256th Note”) of the it’s Live series.
The official it’s Live video page titles the stage “[4K] CLOSE YOUR EYES “Drop That!” Band LIVE,” with its caption welcoming the group to the show. The tag list names all seven members, confirming the full lineup took the stage.
The r/kpop thread surfaced within the hour of the video’s release, an early sign that fans are picking up the band rendition fast. No official statement was available — it’s a performance clip, not an announcement.
The full performance is up now on the it’s Live YouTube channel for anyone who wants to hear how “Drop That!” lands with a live band.
