Watch: ILLIT Share Behind-The-Scenes Fun In 'BREAK EVEN' Concept Film Sketch Video

ILLIT are giving fans a peek behind the curtain of their comeback. The group has uploaded a behind-the-scenes sketch video from the shoot of the “BURNING” concept film for their upcoming fifth mini album, “BREAK EVEN.”

The clip, titled in Korean “일단 그거 어떻게 하는건데…” (“So, how do you do that…”), was posted on ILLIT’s official YouTube channel and quickly made its way to r/kpop, where it drew attention from the community within hours.

According to the original discussion, the video captures the making of the “BURNING” concept film itself, which premiered on September 28. That film showed the members acting out their frustration — Minju with a chainsaw, Iroha with a hammer — against the album’s theme of cutting off one-sided relationships.

No official statement was available. The sketch video carries no new announcements, but it continues a busy teaser rollout that has included concept photos and narrative films throughout late September and early October.

“BREAK EVEN” is ILLIT’s fifth mini album, set for release on October 26. BELIFT LAB announced the comeback date on September 14, roughly six months after the group’s fourth mini album, led by the title track “It’s Me.” The album title borrows the economic term for the break-even point, framing the project as a declaration that the group will no longer spend their heart and time on relationships that give nothing back.

With the release just over three weeks away, fans can expect the teaser pace to keep building toward October 26.
