Watch: Kim You Jung and Park Jinyoung Hide True Faces Behind Lies in '100 Days of Deception' Motion Posters

tvN’s upcoming drama “100 Days of Deception” has released new motion posters for its main characters, and every one of them is hiding their true face behind a lie.

According to the original report, the drama is helmed by director Yoo In Shik. The period spy romance is set over 100 days during the Japanese occupation of Korea, following Lee Ga Kyeong, played by Kim You Jung, Gyeongseong’s top pickpocket, who becomes an undercover spy for the independence movement and infiltrates the Japanese Government-General of Korea.

There, she becomes entangled with interpreter Kim Tae Woong, played by GOT7’s Park Jinyoung, who also goes by Sato Hideo, the Inspector-General’s adopted son. The motion posters introduce five characters. Ga Kyeong, infiltrating under the false identity of “Geum Seo Hee,” carries the line, “It was a 100-day lie. Until it became the truth.” Hideo’s poster reads, “Even though I knew it was a lie, I kept finding myself wanting to believe it.”

Kim Hyun Joo plays Yoo So Ran, who draws Ga Kyeong into a plot for revenge with the proposal, “Become our spy. I’m proposing a deal.” Lee Moo Saeng plays journalist Yoo Philip, who warns, “If you keep doubting [me], I’ll have no choice but to write an article about today’s incident,” while Jin Sun Kyu’s Inspector-General Sato Shinichi asks, “Do you think killing me will be enough for [Korea] to achieve independence?”

“100 Days of Deception” will premiere on October 10 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
