tvN has shared a new trailer for its upcoming romance thriller “Love in Disguise,” and in this story, neither lead can be trusted.
According to Soompi’s report, the drama follows an arrogant chaebol heir who becomes a murder suspect and a former special forces officer who goes undercover as his personal secretary to investigate him.
Yim Si Wan stars as Yoon Yi Jun, the third-generation heir to Korea’s top conglomerate. The trailer opens with him standing in front of an unconscious woman in a cabinet, and as police begin investigating him, he asks in disbelief, “Do you really think I killed them?”
Determined to uncover the truth, detective Kang Jae Hee (Seol In Ah) learns that Yoon Yi Jun is hiring a male secretary — and confidently replies she can fool him. Disguised as a man, she gets the job and starts keeping a close eye on him from the inside. Caught off guard walking in on him changing, she flusteredly asks, “Even between men, isn’t there a certain etiquette that should be respected?”
But the closer she gets, the more suspicious she grows. “There’s something happening in this house that I don’t know about!” she exclaims. And Yoon Yi Jun is catching on too — the trailer ends with his demand: “Who are you? Who sent you?”
“Love in Disguise” premieres on October 19 at 8:50 p.m. KST, and the lies are already piling up.
