XG has cancelled two upcoming stops of their second world tour. In a notice published on their official website on October 6, the group announced that the Dallas and Mexico City shows of “XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE” are off.
According to the statement, the Dallas show scheduled for November 17 and the Mexico City show scheduled for November 22, 2026, were cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances.” No further reason was given. All tickets will be refunded, and buyers were directed to the platform where they purchased for details on the refund process.
The notice also named the ticketing contacts for each show: Ticketmaster for the November 17 Dallas date, and Superboletos for the November 22 Mexico City date. The statement closed with an apology to fans, noting that the group “sincerely regret[s] that we are unable to perform in person for all the fans who have been looking forward to these shows.”
The announcement quickly drew attention on r/kpop, where fans noted the statement offers little explanation. Some speculated about ticket sales as a possible cause, though nothing in the official notice confirms this. One fan pointed out that other US stops on the tour were not affected, making the Dallas and Mexico City cancellations stand out.
No official statement was available beyond the notice on the group’s website. It remains to be seen whether the rest of the tour’s schedule will continue as planned.
