ATEEZ's "BAD" Surpasses 100 Million Views, Becoming Their Sixth Music Video to Hit the Milestone

ATEEZ’s “BAD” has crossed 100 million views on YouTube, becoming the group’s sixth music video to reach the milestone.

The video surpassed the mark on October 17 at around 3:30 p.m. KST, according to Soompi, joining “WONDERLAND,” “BOUNCY (K-HOT CHILLI PEPPERS),” “Crazy Form,” “Answer,” and “Ice On My Teeth” in the group’s 100-million-view club. News of the milestone surfaced on r/kpop minutes after it happened, with fans celebrating the viral hit’s latest record.

ATEEZ released the “BAD” music video on June 26 at 1 p.m. KST, meaning it took just over three months and 21 days to reach 100 million views — a brisk pace even by the group’s standards.

“BAD” is the title track of ATEEZ’s 14th mini album “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5,” released June 26 via KQ Entertainment. The cinematic video stars Hollywood actress Chase Infiniti, a Golden Globe nominee for her role in “One Battle After Another” and a self-described longtime fan of the group, in a storyline that moves from a chaotic wedding to a courtroom showdown.

The release got off to a flying start: the video topped 10 million views within its first day and hit No. 1 on YouTube Music’s Worldwide Trending Music Videos chart. The album itself set a new career high for ATEEZ with first-week sales of over 1.88 million copies, per STARNEWS, making it the group’s seventh cumulative million-selling album. Title track “BAD” topped real-time and daily charts on Bugs and reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in eight countries, while also entering the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart and the European iTunes Song Chart.

The milestone caps a run that saw “BAD” dominate both charts and feeds. The EP topped the Billboard 200, per the Korea JoongAng Daily, while member San’s standout choreography moment became one of the most replayed sections of the video — reaching viewers well beyond the group’s core fandom. All five tracks on “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5” — “BAD,” “Mamacita,” “Toxin,” “Fallin’,” and “Body” — earned strong support from fans, per SportsChosun.

With “BAD” still pulling strong daily views, ATEEZ’s global momentum shows no sign of slowing.
