BLACKPINK's Jennie Joins the Weeknd on Stage in Goyang for 'One of the Girls' Performance cover

BLACKPINK’s Jennie made a guest appearance at The Weeknd’s concert in Korea on Thursday night, joining the Canadian singer on stage for a live performance of their hit collaboration “One of the Girls.”

According to Korea JoongAng Daily, Jennie appeared during the second and final night of “Hyundai Card Super Concert 28 The Weeknd” at Goyang Stadium in Gyeonggi. Thursday’s show began at 7:45 p.m.

“Thank you so much for having me; thank you, Abel,” Jennie told the crowd, referring to The Weeknd by his birth name. The two performed “One of the Girls,” their 2023 collaboration from the soundtrack of the HBO series “The Idol.”

The two-night engagement at Goyang Stadium is the Korean leg of The Weeknd’s ongoing “After Hours Til Dawn” world tour, and marks his first performance in Korea in eight years. The concerts drew a total of 110,000 concertgoers across the two nights, according to the report.

The shows also mark the 28th edition of Hyundai Card’s “Super Concert” series, launched in 2007 — and the first installment in three years, following Bruno Mars’s 2023 Seoul show.

Jennie’s appearance caps off the Korean leg of the tour; it remains to be seen whether the two will share a stage again as the tour moves on.
