A man rushed onto the stage during N.Flyingâs university festival performance on October 7, kicking over a microphone stand and confronting a member mid-song.
According to a report by Sports Chosun, the band was performing at a university festival in Osan, Gyeonggi-do, and had just pre-released their new song âEmberâ (ìë¶), set to drop the following day. The intrusion happened during their âRooftopâ (ì„íë°©) stage.
The man climbed the stairs at the side of the stage and kicked the microphone stand in front of bassist Seo Dong-sung, knocking it over. He then approached vocalist Yoo Hwe-seung mid-song, tapped his shoulder, and pointed at his own wrist, appearing to protest something. Leader Lee Seung-hyub kept singing while stepping between them until staff and event crew escorted the man off. The exact reason for the intrusion was not confirmed.
The members shouted, âBe careful, donât get hurt, take it slow,â while the man was being removed. After the show, Yoo Hwe-seung told the shaken audience: âYou were startled too, right? Honestly, I was quite startled too. I think he came up because the sound was a bit loud. I hope the situation gets sorted out well, and I hope heâs in good health.â
Video of the incident spread online, drawing criticism of the festivalâs on-site security for letting the intruder reach the members before anyone stopped him. No official statement from the bandâs representatives was available.
