CLOSE YOUR EYES have their first trophy for the comeback.
The seven-member boy group earned their first music show win for “Drop That!” on the October 9 episode of KBS 2TV’s Music Bank, according to the original r/kpop discussion that flagged the result within hours of the broadcast.
The win marks a quick payoff for the group, which debuted on April 2, 2025 after forming through JTBC’s survival program Project 7. Their fandom is known as CLOSER, and all seven members have been credited on the lyrics of recent tracks.
“Drop That!” has been described as one of the bolder moments of the group’s latest album, blending Korean jazz-funk with 1990s hip-hop sounds alongside modern K-pop production.
The Music Bank victory continues a strong trophy streak for the rookie group. Their debut track “All My Poetry” won on SBS MTV’s The Show on April 8, 2025, followed by a Music Bank win on April 11, 2025, and their second mini album’s “Snowy Summer” picked up wins on The Show and Show Champion in July 2025, as reported by Soompi.
No official statement was available at press time.
The win sets up the group for a promising promotion cycle as “Drop That!” continues its run on the weekly music shows.
