ILLIT gave fans a surprise first look at their new title track “체포하겠어” on stage during the group’s encore concert in Incheon over the weekend.
The group held ‘ILLIT LIVE “PRESS START♥” ENCORE in KOREA’ at the Inspire Arena on October 17 and 18, and the undisputed highlight was the debut performance of the title track from their fifth mini album “BREAK EVEN” — unveiled roughly ten days before its October 26, 6 PM KST release. Dancing to a hard-hitting beat, the members pulled off a sharp, precise routine built around whistle props, according to Star Today, sending the venue into a frenzy.
The concert’s setlist also included ‘paw, paw!’, first premiered at the original ‘PRESS START’ shows, alongside ‘ICONIC BY MISTAKE’, ‘I Got Your Back (Korean Ver.)’ and ‘Scrum’. Interactive segments for ‘It’s Me’ and ‘oops!’ let the members trade verses with the audience and jump around with fans in what the report described as a warm, close exchange.
In a touching moment, member Moka — currently on a hiatus — attended the concert to cheer on her groupmates and joined the “체포하겠어” dance challenge from the audience, showing her love for the team. The members said, “Moka has been with us since before we went on stage, so we all gained great strength,” adding, “ILLIT is always five.”
ILLIT debuted in 2024 and has been loved for hits including “Magnetic”, “NOT CUTE ANYMORE”, “빌려온 고양이 (Do the Dance)” and “It’s Me”.
“BREAK EVEN” and its title track “체포하겠어” will be unveiled on October 26 at 6 PM KST.
