IVE Reveals 'Looks Can Kill' Point Choreography Ahead of October 19 Pre-Release and 'Girl Hero' Comeback

IVE Reveals 'Looks Can Kill' Point Choreography Ahead of October 19 Pre-Release and 'Girl Hero' Comeback cover

IVE have offered a first look at the point choreography for their new title track "Looks Can Kill," as the group counts down to the song's pre-release on October 19 and a full mini album of the same name on October 26.

The footage aired October 17 in a Yonhap News TV segment, which showed the six members performing the track's signature moves at full speed under the group's new "girl hero" concept. The report described the members appearing in character as a masked heroine squad, carrying forward the self-confidence identity IVE has built across its recent eras while telling a new story through fresh characters.

Starship Entertainment announced the comeback on September 28 with a projection-mapping teaser cast across a Seoul high-rise, emblazoned with the message "IVE SPIN-OFF RELEASE 2026.10.19." According to the official schedule reported by allkpop, the rollout has included film-style promotional content such as "HERO IN EVERYWHERE" and "POST CREDITS SCENE: GIRL HERO," four series of concept photos, and two music video teasers for the title track on October 16 and 17. A highlight medley follows on October 21, ahead of the mini album's arrival on October 26. The group is also on stage this weekend at NOL FESTIVAL, running October 17 and 18 at KINTEX.

The comeback marks IVE's first release in about eight months, following their second full-length album "REVIVE+" in February. That album was fronted by double title tracks "BANG BANG" and "BLACKHOLE," which together earned the group nine music show trophies — eight for "BANG BANG" and one for "BLACKHOLE." "BANG BANG" also achieved a Perfect All-Kill across major Korean music charts, the group's sixth of their career.

The return also follows the conclusion of IVE's second world tour, "SHOW WHAT I AM," which traveled through Asia, Oceania and North America, including shows at Kyocera Dome and Tokyo Dome in Japan and eight cities across North America.

With the pre-release now days away, the choreography reveal is the final piece of IVE's "girl hero" teaser campaign before the title track drops on October 19 at 6 PM KST.
