KiiiKiii has sold out its first overseas fan concert, with every ticket for "KiiiKiii FesTiiival JAPAN Edition" claimed ahead of the show at Zepp Haneda in Tokyo on October 25. Starship Entertainment confirmed the sellout, making the Tokyo date a sold-out headline show for the five-member group on its first fan concert outing outside South Korea.
The concert takes place on October 25 at 6 p.m. local time at Zepp Haneda in Tokyo. According to Starship Entertainment, all tickets sold out as soon as reservations opened, a detail reported by both the Korean wire report and allkpop's coverage of the announcement. The show is KiiiKiii's first overseas fan concert, and it extends the group's "2026 KiiiKiii Fan Concert: KiiiKiii FesTiiival," which was held in Seoul in May, to an international stage.
A representative for the group said KiiiKiii, having built up experience on festival and awards show stages at home and abroad, will aim to captivate fans with a diverse setlist and dynamic performances in Tokyo. That framing matters because a fan concert asks more of an audience than a festival slot: fans are not just catching a short set between other acts, they are buying a ticket for one group alone. A sellout on that first attempt is therefore a clearer read on standalone demand in Japan than a well-received festival appearance.
The Seoul edition of the fan concert set the template the Tokyo show is building on. In Seoul, KiiiKiii presented a setlist spanning a variety of genres, including cover stages of IVE's "Kitsch" and f(x)'s "4 Walls." Videos from those performances drew attention after the Seoul shows, and the covers have become a useful shorthand for the group's range: a group still early in its career showing it can interpret other artists' songs and deliver polished choreography rather than relying only on its own catalogue.
That range has been on display across a busy run of Japanese activity. Last year, KiiiKiii appeared at KCON Japan 2025 and Kansai Collection, and took part in NHK's "Music Expo Live 2025" at the Tokyo Dome as the only K-pop girl group on the lineup. The group has also appeared on Japanese music programs and in local media. In March, KiiiKiii performed at the Head in the Clouds Music and Arts Festival in Tokyo, and later joined the festival's Los Angeles edition, adding an American festival date to the same run of overseas stages.
The chart story in Japan has kept pace with the live story. "404 (New Era)" has appeared on several Billboard Japan charts, including Hot Albums, Artist 100, and Heatseekers Songs, giving the group a measurable foothold in the market before its first headline fan concert there. That combination, television and festival exposure plus chart placements, is the backdrop against which the Tokyo sellout should be read: it did not come out of nowhere, but it still converts that exposure into something concrete, a room full of ticket holders.
The wider year has given KiiiKiii momentum beyond Japan as well. In July, "404 (New Era)" ranked first on Billboard's "The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2026 (So Far)" staff picks, and in August the group took home a trophy at Tencent Music's TME Live International Music Awards 2026. The group's third mini album, "WhyKiiiKiii," was released in August, and according to the official third-quarter 2026 chart from Chinese platform NetEase Cloud Music, it was named the most popular Korean album of the quarter. From October 9 to 11, KiiiKiii performed at the halftime show of the NBA China Games 2026 and at the fan festival NBA House Macao 2026.
For a group made up of Jiyu, Leesol, Sui, Haum, and Kiya, the Tokyo date is best understood as a bridge rather than a destination. Festival slots and television appearances introduce a group to new audiences, but a sold-out fan concert shows that at least one market is willing to pay to see that group alone. If the Tokyo show lands as planned, it gives Starship Entertainment a concrete result to build on when routing future overseas dates, and it sets a baseline for how the group's next Japanese outing might be sized.
KiiiKiii has also been confirmed to perform at the D Awards 2027 in Paris, a further sign that the group's overseas calendar is extending beyond a single market. For now, though, the immediate focus is Tokyo: a sold-out room, a first overseas fan concert, and a setlist built to show why the group earned that room in the first place.
