Koyote singer Shinji is giving fans an honest look at her married life with singer Moonwon, five months after the couple tied the knot.
In a video posted October 14 on her YouTube channel âě´ë ě ě§?!?â (âHow About You?!?â), titled âSeasonal blue crab and prawns! Why you should visit Oido right now,â Shinji and Moonwon visited a restaurant in Oido, where the conversation turned to their everyday married life.
Moonwon admitted he had âgone to sleep sulkingâ the night before after a small disagreement. While watching a movie together, he asked Shinji a question and got a curt âfigure it out yourself,â he recalled. When he asked why her tone was like that, she simply asked âwhy?â and the conversation ended with him falling asleep feeling hurt, Korean outlet Xports News reported.
Shinji explained her side candidly. She said she wants to focus when watching something, and that she talks less at home than before after a long workday. âI didnât want to bring the stress I built up outside home to my husband,â she said, adding that she had even told him to meet his friends and come home late rather than hover around her.
She joked that âgoing to sleep sulking has become a hobby latelyâ and that âitâs like our genders have switched,â even quipping that she might need to stop taking hair-loss medicine.
Moonwon said his feelings were âhalf hurt, half worried,â explaining he worries something might be wrong when his wife goes quiet. âPlaying with my wife is the best,â he added, expressing his affection.
Shinji, who debuted with mixed-gender group Koyote in 1998, married Moonwon, seven years her junior, in Seoul on May 2. The couple met through the MBC radio program âLee Yoon-seok and Shinjiâs Single Bungle Showâ and first announced their marriage last year.
