Rapper MC Mong will hit the road this November with a free concert tour spanning eight cities across South Korea, announcing the full schedule on his personal social media on October 20.
According to Newsis, the singer posted a tour poster captioned “무료 공연, 저와 미칠 준비” — “Free concert, get ready to go crazy with me.” Star News reported that the black-and-white poster, titled “MC Mong November Free Concert Schedule,” lays out the eight-stop itinerary: the tour opens November 1 in Ilsan and continues to Jeonju on November 7, Songdo on November 8, Ulsan on November 18, Gwangju in Gyeonggi Province on November 21, Cheongju on November 22, Gumi on November 24, before wrapping up in Busan on November 28. Newsis added that MC Mong told fans to “search for ‘Sebayeon’ and apply,” indicating admission will be handled through an application process.
The free concerts come shortly after MC Mong resolved his highly publicized feud with actor Kim Min-jong. In May, MC Mong named Kim during a live broadcast while raising allegations of illegal gambling in the entertainment industry; Kim immediately denied the claims and filed a criminal defamation complaint against the singer in September. The two later met in person, where MC Mong apologized for naming him, and Kim subsequently withdrew the complaint, saying that someone who admits their wrongdoing and sincerely apologizes deserves another chance. Star News described the November tour as MC Mong’s return to his main work following that reconciliation.
It also follows a headline-making gesture earlier this fall, when MC Mong handed a semester’s tuition in cash to a university student during his September 11 set at Kyonggi University’s festival in Suwon — a moment that drew both warm reviews and criticism over its cash-event format.
With all eight shows listed as free, the tour gives fans a no-cost way to catch the rapper live just weeks after he wrapped up his latest round of controversy. Details on the application process are expected to be shared through his official channels ahead of the November 1 kickoff in Ilsan.
