NCT’s Jisung is joining ENA’s crime-action drama Crash 2: Wrath of the Road, which has locked in its premiere for November 16 at 10 p.m. KST.
The production team announced the news on October 13 alongside photos from the script reading, where Jisung joined returning stars Lee Min-ki, Kwak Sun-young, Heo Sung-tae, Lee Ho-cheol, and Moon Hee around the table, according to Korean outlet The Fact.
Jisung plays Ji Dae-se, a rookie patrol officer at the Namgang Police Station who idolizes the Traffic Crime Investigation Team (T.C.I.). Described as a fresh-faced newcomer with real judo skills, his chemistry with the veteran unit is being billed as one of the new season’s highlights.
The 12-episode series will air every Monday and Tuesday on ENA starting November 16, with streaming on KT Genie TV and Disney+. Writer Oh Soo-jin and director Park Joon-woo, who helmed both the first season and Taxi Driver’s first season, reunite for the sequel.
The original Crash, which aired in 2024, followed the T.C.I. as they hunted down so-called ‘road villains,’ mixing a fresh premise with car-chasing action. It went on to become ENA’s fourth-highest-rated drama ever.
This time the team is going national: the Namgang T.C.I. is reborn as a regional investigation unit under the National Investigation Headquarters, taking on bigger and more sophisticated traffic crimes across the country.
