Actor Park Jung-min’s on-set must-have isn’t his script — it’s his laptop. In W KOREA’s new ‘What’s in my bag’ video, the actor-publisher showed how he juggles three jobs at once.

The video, posted on W KOREA’s official YouTube channel on October 12 and reported by Sports Donga, follows Park emptying his set bag. He said he’s currently filming the Disney+ series ‘Sangnamja’ as the lead, four to five days a week on set — and still reviewing work for Muje, the publishing company he runs.

Between takes he sneaks looks at publishing business, he said — everything routes through a separate work phone. ‘Every company related to the publishing company calls that number,’ he explained. The laptop stays on him around the clock for writing and emails: ‘Scripts can go missing, but not the laptop.’

He also gave readers news: he has one or two writing deadlines before the year ends, and nearly all his break time goes to writing. ‘Sometimes I wake up in the middle of sleep to write,’ he admitted — a couple of people around him have read the drafts, ‘and the reactions weren’t bad.’ Fans begged for the novel: ‘we are eagerly waiting for the novel.’

Park debuted in the 2011 film ‘Bleak Night’ and has stacked a parallel career alongside screen work: running publisher Muje, modeling, and now writing to real deadlines.

The next chapters, it seems, will be written between call times — probably at 3 a.m.
