SISTAR’s Soyou is keeping it real about housework. The soloist opened up her home on her YouTube channel ‘Soyu-gi,’ revealing that a cleaning helper visits twice a week — because the house is simply too big for one session.
In a video uploaded on October 5, Soyou walked viewers through her cleaning routine, starting at the entrance: tidying shoes, dusting the floor, and noting that a clean entryway is said to bring good fortune.
“My cleaning helper does come twice a week,” she admitted, explaining that “the house is on the bigger side, so sometimes the work gets split across days.” She added that she handles the visible spots herself: “The small things that bother me — I take care of those.”
The video also touched on how she afforded the spacious home. According to TV Report, Soyou previously revealed she invested about 100 million won in Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix stocks roughly 10 years ago, and the gains helped her purchase the new house.
The former SISTAR member has been active as a solo singer while running her channel, sharing unfiltered daily life with fans. With the helper handling the heavy lifting twice a week and Soyou covering the rest, the singer seems to have found her rhythm — and fans can expect more candid home content on ‘Soyu-gi.’
