Jisoo has unveiled a motion teaser for her new digital single “ADDICTED,” confirming the track arrives on October 30, 2026 (KST).
The short teaser was posted to Jisoo’s official YouTube channel (@sooyaaa__) on October 24, titled “JISOO Digital Single [ADDICTED] 2026.10.30 (KST).” The clip is labeled a motion teaser, a format typically used to reveal a single’s visual concept and key art rather than its sound. Within hours of the upload, fans on r/kpop had already flagged the post, and the clip began circulating rapidly through K-pop fan communities on the morning of October 24.
The teaser title gives away the two things that matter most: the name of the single and its release date. Unlike her previous teaser campaigns this year, which played coy with dates and one-word keywords, the “ADDICTED” reveal came with a firm date attached. No tracklist, credits, or production details have been shared yet, and the clip itself is brief by design — motion teasers exist to mark the start of a promotional cycle, not to answer every question.
Jisoo’s team has not issued a separate written statement about the single. The motion teaser itself, posted under her own name on her verified channel, is the announcement.
The “ADDICTED” drop lands less than two months after Jisoo’s previous single “CLICK.” According to reporting by TheKpopCurator, Jisoo dropped a mysterious “CLICK” teaser on August 24, 2026, with a release date of September 4, built around an eerie amusement-park visual concept with flickering lights and slightly off-kilter animatronics. The same outlet reported that the “CLICK” music video was directed by Joseph Kahn and filmed in Bangkok, and described the track as a pre-release single for her first full-length solo album. KpopFizz has not independently verified those production credits.
That framing matters because Jisoo has, until now, been the only BLACKPINK member without a full-length solo album. She launched her solo music career under her own independent label BLISSOO with the debut EP “Amortage” in February 2025, establishing a sound built around the soft, love-montage visual language of that EP. The “CLICK” campaign was widely read as a deliberate break from that aesthetic — cooler and more deliberate, in TheKpopCurator’s words — signaling a new chapter. If “ADDICTED” is, like “CLICK,” another step toward that first full album, it would continue one of the most closely watched solo campaigns in K-pop.
The timing also puts Jisoo in step with an unusually busy season for the BLACKPINK members. According to Hawaiian radio outlet Hawaiian 105, Lisa has released “SaWaDiKa” off an upcoming EP and Jennie dropped her “Fallen Angel” EP, while BLACKPINK itself released its “Deadline” EP earlier this year following the group’s “Deadline” world tour. Jisoo’s late-October release slots neatly into that wave of solo activity, and her decision to announce a firm date rather than another open-ended clue suggests her promotional machine is already in motion.
Beyond music, Jisoo has spent 2026 expanding her acting footprint as well. Bandwagon reported in January that she was featured in Netflix’s 2026 K-content sizzle reel as Seo Mi-rae, a burnt-out webtoon producer, in the upcoming rom-com series “Boyfriend on Demand,” opposite Seo In-guk. That dual-track career — music under BLISSOO, acting on major streaming platforms — has made her one of the busiest of the four BLACKPINK members this year.
What “ADDICTED” will sound like is still anyone’s guess. The motion teaser reveals a title and a date, not a direction. But the pattern is becoming clear: short, decisive announcements, firm dates, and a visual language that keeps evolving away from the “Amortage” era. More teasers — and likely a full music video — should follow in the week before October 30.
