EL CAPITXN has kicked off the countdown to new music with a teaser image for his pre-release single “Don’t Say Love.”
According to the original discussion on r/kpop, the teaser image dropped ahead of the single, with one fan noting the pre-release is set for October 23. The stylized teaser image drew immediate attention for its near-illegible font — and fans did not mind one bit.
“this is mostly illegible. im so excited,” one commenter wrote, while another asked, “Am I supposed to be able to read that font?” The thread’s answer, in short: you’re not supposed to read it. You’re supposed to feel it.
The pre-release strategy signals that more is coming from EL CAPITXN beyond this single, though details of a full project have not been confirmed. No official statement about an album or additional tracklist was available at press time.
The October 23 date gives fans just over two weeks to speculate on what “Don’t Say Love” will sound like — and whether the hard-to-read teaser font hints at the single’s sonic direction.
Mark the calendar: “Don’t Say Love” arrives October 23.
