Watch: Kang Hoon, Cho Hyun Chul and Kim Jung Jin Turn Chaos into Comedy in 'Happy Anding' First Teaser cover

tvN has unveiled the first teaser for its new Friday-Saturday drama “뜨거운 안녕” (“Happy Anding”). The teaser, released on October 16, introduces Kang Hoon, Cho Hyun Chul, and Kim Jung Jin as Asura, a comedy trio of ten-year unknowns still chasing their dreams.

The teaser leans into glorious chaos, following the trio’s messy everyday lives from outlandish costumes to strange antics. Kang Tae Gu (Kang Hoon), the group’s confident leader, rallies the team with “Just trust and follow me,” while the members introduce themselves as “the Asura who came to turn your heads into chaos.” Despite everyone around them treating the trio as a nuisance, the three remain unshaken in their resolve to pursue comedy. The series premieres November 6 at 10:30 p.m. KST and will run for six weeks in tvN’s Friday-Saturday slot.

Kang Hoon plays Kang Tae Gu, the leader and breadwinner of Asura, who has endured a decade of obscurity out of passion for comedy and responsibility toward his teammates — until a reality he can no longer ignore forces a turning point in his life. Cho Hyun Chul is Kim Nam Il, the group’s witty performer, who has dated his girlfriend Lee Na Yeon (Moon Hee) for ten years and finds himself torn between his dreams and his love life. Kim Jung Jin takes on Han Jun Seo, the trio’s frugal caretaker, endlessly kind to his teammates but slow to open his heart to anyone else. The three set out to find new futures for themselves after encountering a mysterious woman.

The production team said the process of the three preparing for their new tomorrows will deliver laughter and genuine empathy, and asked viewers to look forward to the trio’s distinctly comic chemistry.

The drama is directed by Jung Ji Hyun — known for “Dear Hyeri” and “Twenty-Five Twenty-One” — alongside Heo Seok-won, written by Ahn Ah Reum, with Yang Hee-seung participating as creator and Studio Dragon producing. A poster released a day earlier, on October 15, showed the three stacking themselves into a human tower under falling confetti with the copy: “You are invited to comedy trio Asura’s 10th anniversary performance.” The project was first announced on October 8 with script-reading photos. For Kang Hoon, it is a quick return to a leading role about two months after “My Bias, My Boss” ended on September 8 — a part that marked his first romantic-comedy lead in twelve years.

Six weeks of Friday-Saturday broadcasts will decide whether Asura’s decade of failure can finally become the new beginning the title promises.
