BLACKPINK’s LISA has unveiled the official music video teaser for her new single “Tarantino,” released on October 21 through LLOUD’s official YouTube channel.
The teaser landed just two days before the single’s full release, as fans on r/kpop flagged the newly uploaded clip from LLOUD Official — the video post title read simply “BLACKPINK LISA - Tarantino (MV Teaser).”
“Tarantino” is the second single from LISA’s upcoming debut EP “Press Play,” arriving October 23 via LLOUD and RCA Records. It follows lead single “SaWaDiKa,” which debuted at No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early September. The EP runs about 16 minutes across six tracks: “SaWaDiKa,” “V12,” “Cobra,” “Tarantino,” “Cut U Off,” and “Sweat.”
The track takes its cinematic name from filmmaker Quentin Tarantino. A PlayStation promotional clip on October 20 already previewed the song with lines like “It’s a movie, baby, come and press play” — fitting for a project LISA has described as film-like from the start.
Speaking on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in September, LISA said of the EP: “This EP is about my journey from my roots to where I am right now today. There’s a lot of Thai elements in the songs, as well, in the EP. Every single song, they have their own character [and] their own vibe. When we combine it together, it’s like a movie, so you just press play.”
The single caps a packed season for LISA: her 2025 solo album “Alter Ego” peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, her documentary “Always Lalisa” premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and her Las Vegas residency has been expanded to six performances beginning November 12.
The full “Tarantino” single and the “Press Play” EP arrive October 23 — with the MV teaser now live, the official music video shouldn’t be far behind.
