Ahn Hee Yeon Tries to Cut Ties with Ha Seok Jin Before a Fake Reunion Shakes Things up in 'When Love Comes' cover

Ahn Hee Yeon is finally trying to cut Ha Seok Jin out of her heart in KBS2’s weekend drama “사랑이 온다” (“When Love Comes”) — but a “fake reunion” keeps pulling the two ex-lovers back together.

According to a new report from MHN Sports, Han Gyu Rim (Ahn Hee Yeon) attempts to detach herself and let go of her feelings for Kim Moo Jin (Ha Seok Jin) once and for all. Instead, an unexpected reunion that neither of them planned throws them back into each other’s path — and Moo Jin starts bothering her again, refusing to stay away.

The newly released stills show the pair crossing paths once more, eight years after their painful breakup. The storyline is expected to unfold in this weekend’s episodes, which air every Saturday and Sunday evening on KBS2.

“When Love Comes,” written by Lee Kyung Hee and directed by Hong Seok Gu, premiered on July 25, 2026 as a 50-episode weekend family romance about broken family fragments being stitched back together. Ha Seok Jin plays Kim Moo Jin, the owner-chef of an Italian restaurant, while Ahn Hee Yeon plays Han Gyu Rim, the eldest of five siblings raising her young son Han Gyeol.

The former lovers first reunited after eight years at a police station, following a dispute in an online game. Moo Jin is only beginning to learn the secrets Gyu Rim has kept from him all these years.

Whether this “fake reunion” will finally force the truth out between them remains to be seen.
