Ahn Hyo-seop is going head-to-head with Hollywood royalty. The actor has been nominated for Favorite Male Animated Voice from a Movie at the 2026 Kids’ Choice Awards for his English voice performance as Jinu in Netflix’s animated hit KPop Demon Hunters, according to the official nominees list announced on October 8 (local time).
The report, carried by MHN Sports via Naver, puts Ahn Hyo-seop in the same category as Michael B. Jordan, Tom Hanks, Jack Black, and Chris Pratt.
KPop Demon Hunters picked up a second nod as well, landing a nomination for Favorite Animated Movie. Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, a fan-voted celebration of pop culture running since 1988, will air this year on CBS and Nickelodeon and stream globally on Paramount+.
Ahn Hyo-seop voiced Jinu, the leader of the fictional boy band Saja Boys, entirely in English — a layered performance that won over viewers around the world.
The nomination caps a busy stretch for the actor. His SBS drama ‘Sold Out Again Today’ topped Netflix’s Global Non-English TV chart and spent seven straight weeks in the global Top 10, while his May single ‘Something Special’ with Khalid spent 12 weeks on the US radio chart Mediabase Top 40. He also attended the Met Gala and became a global ambassador for Saint Laurent and JUUN.J.
Next up, he plays overseas-trained chef Kang Han in JTBC’s new weekend drama ‘Final Table,’ premiering October 24 at 10:40 PM.
