BTS's Jungkook Sets K-Pop Solo Record with Seven Songs Over 400 Million Spotify Streams

BTS's Jungkook Sets K-Pop Solo Record with Seven Songs Over 400 Million Spotify Streams cover

BTS member Jungkook has set a new benchmark for K-pop solo artists on Spotify, with seven of his songs each passing 400 million streams on the platform, according to a new report from South Korean outlet Star News.

The report, citing the World Music Awards (WMA), says Jungkook now holds the most songs over 400 million streams among K-pop solo artists. The seven tracks are “Seven,” “Standing Next to You,” “3D,” “Left and Right,” “Dreamers,” “Still With You,” and “Stay Alive,” spanning his solo work, collaborations, and a self-composed song.

The streaming totals underline how durable Jungkook’s solo catalogue has remained. “Seven” leads the group with 3.13 billion streams, followed by “Standing Next to You” at 1.54 billion. “3D” and “Left and Right” have each reached 1.22 billion streams, while “Dreamers” stands at 560 million, “Still With You” at 510 million, and “Stay Alive” at 400 million.

The report also notes a second milestone within the same achievement. Jungkook is the first Asian solo artist to place four songs above 1.2 billion Spotify streams, with “Seven,” “Standing Next to You,” “3D,” and “Left and Right” all clearing that mark.

The numbers extend a run of Spotify milestones that has followed Jungkook beyond his work with BTS. His 2018 BTS album solo song “Euphoria” has also passed 700 million streams, according to the report, showing that older solo material continues to accumulate plays alongside his newer releases.

His first solo album, “GOLDEN,” remains a long-term presence on Spotify as well. The report says the album has spent 154 weeks on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart, a run that points to steady international listening rather than a short opening-week spike.

Taken together, the figures add up to a substantial personal total. Jungkook’s Spotify personal account has reached 11.68 billion streams across all credits, the report says, a figure that combines his solo songs, collaborations, and featured work.

No official statement was available from Jungkook or his agency in the report itself, which attributes the updated tallies to the World Music Awards. The milestone arrives as Jungkook’s solo catalogue continues to set the pace for K-pop solo artists on the platform, with the 400-million club now counting seven of his songs and no other K-pop solo artist matching that total, according to the report.
