Lee Soo Man's Real A2O LITE Dance Footage Released by Sunny as 74-Year-Old Founder Nails Kicking Choreography

Lee Soo Man's Real A2O LITE Dance Footage Released by Sunny as 74-Year-Old Founder Nails Kicking Choreography cover

Sunny has released the real footage of Lee Soo-man personally teaching A2O LITE their debut choreography, settling whether the 74-year-old producer really danced the moves himself. The clip shows the A2O Entertainment founder coaching members through the intro of debut song “NEON,” including the kicking move at the center of the video.

According to MHN Sports, Sunny posted the video on her own account on October 25, captioning it as a behind-the-scenes reveal to mark A2O LITE’s first terrestrial No. 1 with “NEON.” In the footage, Lee works directly with members Aijing and Siri, correcting the kicking motion step by step.

“It is not kicking up like this; you strike like this, then rise exactly here and kick, so it looks like this from the front,” Lee says as he demonstrates the move himself.

The release clears up confusion from an earlier video. Sunny had previously posted an AI-composite dance clip featuring Lee and composer Yoo Young-jin, and said on MBC FM4U’s “Hope Song at Noon with Kim Shin-young” that people asked whether she had been scolded for it. She said the AI video did not scare her, but she did hold one slightly scary clip: a real video of Lee dancing. Aijing recalled on air being so nervous she kept getting the move wrong until Lee helped her, and Sunny promised to share the footage when the opportunity came. She kept that promise on the group’s first terrestrial win. The AI-composite video, not the new real clip, is the one that had passed 9.35 million views as of October 27.

A2O LITE, the nine-member multinational group from Lee’s A2O Entertainment, debuted on October 13 with “NEON,” won its first music show trophy on SBS Life’s “The Show” on October 20, then its first terrestrial No. 1 on SBS’s “Inkigayo” on October 25, the day Sunny posted the video.

Sunny, a Girls’ Generation member and Lee’s niece, joined A2O Entertainment after her SM Entertainment contract ended in 2023 and produced on the debut album. Lee, born in 1952, founded SM Entertainment before setting up A2O Entertainment.

No official statement was available from A2O Entertainment beyond Sunny’s post and the MHN report. With the real clip now public, Sunny’s radio tease is resolved: the dance was Lee’s own.
