Actress Cha Kyung-eun just gave fans her most honest moment yet. In a wedding shoot vlog uploaded on October 11 to her YouTube channel “Kyeong Eun,” she read a heartfelt handwritten letter revealing that her dream of a happy family is bigger than her dream of becoming a great actor.
According to the original report by Sports Kyunghyang, the video — titled “Wedding Shoot Vlog” — follows Cha and her fiance, actor and director Lee Yu-jin, through a dreamy wedding photoshoot. The couple, who recently announced their marriage alongside pregnancy news, looked every bit like the leads of a melodrama.
The emotional core came at the end of the video, where Cha shared a long, hand-written-style message with her subscribers. She acknowledged that her sudden marriage announcement likely surprised many, and admitted she would be stepping back from acting work for a while.
“I have a huge dream of becoming a great actor, but an even bigger dream is to build a happy family and live the rest of my life happily,” she wrote. “Working alongside the family I love holds far greater value than any greater honor or success I could achieve.”
She also described her soon-to-be husband as her YouTube channel’s biggest fan, and said she has no plans for couple vlogs — she will simply keep documenting her daily life naturally, the way she did when she started.
The couple will hold a private ceremony on November 14 in Seoul, attended only by family and close acquaintances. Their announcement continues to draw a wave of warm congratulations from fans.
