Cheerleader Park Ki-ryang Addresses Bizarre SNS Glitch Showing Inappropriate Term Instead of Her Name cover

Cheerleader Park Ki-ryang personally addressed a bizarre social media glitch on October 16, after fans discovered that searching her name on the platform returned a vulgar term instead of her own name.

According to MK Sports, Park shared a screenshot of the search results on her own SNS account. Typing her Korean name into the search bar displayed her account under the label “여자알몸” — a Korean phrase meaning “naked woman” — rather than her real name, in a shocking mislabeling.

Park said she was flooded with worried direct messages after the screenshot spread. “Many people sent me worried DMs… on some people’s phones it shows up like that and on others it doesn’t, and I don’t know why either,” she wrote, expressing her own confusion at the situation.

“It doesn’t suit me at all! It seems a few other people have suffered the same thing — why is this happening?” she added, making clear she was not the only user hit by the strange error.

Because the mislabeling struck multiple users at the same time, the incident appears to stem from a platform-side system error rather than anything tied to Park herself, MK Sports noted.

The veteran cheerleader, long beloved by sports fans, has received no public explanation from the platform so far. Fans continue to voice concern as they wait for the glitch to be fixed.
