EXO’s Xiumin just became a brother-in-law. The idol’s younger sister, Kim Min-kyung, married instructor Mr. A on October 9 at a wedding hall in Guri, Gyeonggi Province — and the wedding song came from a very special guest: fellow EXO member Chen.
According to an exclusive report by MHNěŠ¤íŹ¬ě¸ , published on October 12, around 300 family members, relatives, and friends attended the 5 PM ceremony, which proceeded without an officiant. The couple had been dating for several years and decided to marry after building deep trust.
The report says the ceremony was designed to feel like a festival rather than a formal affair, reflecting what the couple called the true meaning of marriage. Chen, described as a close friend of Xiumin, performed the congratulatory song for the newlyweds. The couple plans to head off on their honeymoon once their schedules are settled.
Xiumin has been protective of his sister in the past. On a previous broadcast, he joked, “I don’t want to introduce my younger sister to the EXO members. If it doesn’t work out… I want to keep a good relationship with the EXO members.”
