CLOSE YOUR EYES are turning November into a love story for their fans. The seven-member group will hold a fan concert in Seoul from November 20 to 22, followed by a show in Tokyo on the 28th, their agency UNCORE confirmed.
According to a Star News report published October 13, UNCORE revealed the concert schedule alongside the official poster for the show, titled “Idol Since Birth, But I Want To Date CLOSER” (모태 아이돌이지만 클로저와 연애는 하고 싶어).
The Seoul concerts run three days at the COEX Artium Woori Bank Hall, with the Tokyo show set for the Shinjuku Cultural Center on November 28. The playful title is a nod to CLOSER, the group’s official fandom name, promising a special event built around the fans. Fan club presale opens October 20, with general sales starting October 22, exclusively through NOL Ticket.
The announcement caps a career-best run for the group. Their fourth mini album ‘256th Note’, released September 30, sold more than 710,000 copies in its first week, a personal record. Title track ‘Drop That!’ entered the Melon HOT100, peaked at No. 3 on the Bugs real-time chart, and the album reached No. 62 on the iTunes Worldwide Albums chart. The group also earned its first KBS2 Music Bank trophy with the song on October 9.
With the fan concert now on the calendar, CLOSE YOUR EYES will close out a breakthrough year with a love story written for CLOSER.
