Ding Yuxi and Deng Enxi's 'Hua Kai Jin Xiu' Overtakes Zhang Linghe's 'Zhu Yu' in Weibo 2026 TV Summit Vote

Ding Yuxi and Deng Enxi’s costume drama “Hua Kai Jin Xiu” has pulled ahead of Zhang Linghe and Tian Xiwei’s “Zhu Yu” in the drama category of the 2026 Weibo TV & Internet Video Summit vote.

According to MyDaily, voting began October 9 and runs through October 27 across drama, actor, film, and music categories. On October 12, day four of voting, the drama race was the most contested of all.

“Hua Kai Jin Xiu” leads with 1 million “amazing” clicks and 4,273 “convinced” clicks. “Zhu Yu” sits second with 560,000 “amazing” clicks — but it tops its rival on the “convinced” index with 9,442. A third drama starring Bai Lu and Cheng Lei holds third place with 470,000 clicks.

Premiered in August, “Hua Kai Jin Xiu” follows a noblewoman (Deng Enxi) who flees with a salt smuggler (Ding Yuxi); as they dodge pursuers, they fall in love and expose corruption within her family and the court.

“Zhu Yu” (“Pursuit of Jade”) premiered in March, starring Tian Xiwei as a butcher’s daughter in a marriage of convenience with Zhang Linghe’s marquis, their love deepening amid war and old grudges.

Last year’s summit, held November 3 in Beijing, named “Guardians of the Dafeng” and “The Legend of Zang Hai” among the year’s most influential works, with Tian Xiwei and Xiao Zhan taking acting honors.

With two weeks of voting left, the gap could still close — and “Zhu Yu“‘s edge on the secondary index suggests its fans are far from done.
