Disney+ has set November 11 as the premiere date for its new original variety show “Style Wars,” a fashion survival series in which 72 style-obsessed contestants face off on the strength of their styling alone.
According to The Fact, Disney+ confirmed the date on October 16 and unveiled a “72-person pre-teaser” showcasing the contestants’ strong personalities and head-to-toe looks, set against minimalist white backgrounds.
The show pits 72 contestants against one another across a variety of missions where only style matters. Participants of all ages, genders and occupations take part, each armed with their own taste and fashion instincts. Two episodes will be released every Wednesday starting November 11.
Singer and actress Hyeri serves as MC. The judging panel consists of model-turned TV personality Hong Jin-kyung, creative director Junji, model-turned actor Bae Jung-nam, and fashion stylist and creator Choi Sil-jang, who will evaluate the contestants’ styles from different professional perspectives.
In its announcement, Disney+ said: “The new original variety show ‘Style Wars’ will premiere on November 11.” The 72-person pre-teaser is now available.
With its contestants’ styling front and center, “Style Wars” arrives as a straight-up battle of taste. New episodes land every Wednesday from November 11.
