EXO CBX Clash with Bubble Over Abrupt Service Termination Amid INB100 Lawsuit cover

EXO’s Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin are locked in a public dispute with fan-messaging platform Bubble after announcing they were ending their service — a move Bubble says was never agreed upon.

According to SPOTV News, CBX told fans through Bubble posts that their Bubble use would end effective September 30, 2026, adding that a new communication space was being prepared.

Bubble pushed back, saying the post was published without prior agreement, that its contract with the artists remains valid, and that no termination had been confirmed. The platform said it contacted the artists’ representatives to seek an amicable resolution. The standoff deepened when CBX launched a new fan platform, From, on October 7 — a move Bubble said it learned about indirectly and which was also not agreed upon.

“Although we informed them that the Bubble service contract cannot be terminated by a unilateral notice alone, it is very regrettable that the situation has reached this point,” the company said in a statement.

Bubble said that without the artists’ cooperation it cannot provide full service, and that it will therefore shut down CBX’s Bubble service on November 20. Separately, CBX remains in litigation with INB100 chairman Cha Ga-won over unpaid settlement funds.

No official statement from the artists beyond the original Bubble posts was available. With the November 20 shutdown date now set, fans who paid for Bubble messages face a final six-week countdown before the service ends.
