Former cheerleader Kim Han-na is officially a mom. The 37-year-old revealed on October 12 that she gave birth to her first son, Hyun-woo, on September 29.
According to TV Report, Kim shared the news on her personal social media account nearly two weeks after the delivery. She disclosed both the baby’s prenatal nickname, Dallae, and his given name, Hyun-woo, calling him “our angel.”
The post included a photo taken at a postpartum care center: Kim cradling her newborn with a bright smile while her husband, Kim Jung-seok, stands beside them. She also added the hashtag “horse-year baby,” noting her son was born in 2026, the Year of the Fire Horse.
“I still can’t believe such a lovely being was born from my womb,” she wrote. “Seeing myself think of Hyun-woo before my own pain makes me understand parents’ hearts a little.” She added that she can’t wait to take Hyun-woo to many good places together.
Born in 1989, Kim debuted as a cheerleader in 2011 and spent over a decade on the sidelines of pro baseball’s Kiwoom Heroes and KIA Tigers, plus pro basketball and volleyball courts, earning nicknames like “baseball goddess” and “cheerleader queen.” She married cheerleading director Kim Jung-seok, three years her junior, last September and retired from the cheer stage. In January, she surprised fans by announcing a natural pregnancy, calling it “an unexpected blessing.”
No further statement was available, but congratulatory messages from fans have been pouring in on her post.
