H1-KEY has traded its bright, youthful image for leather, metal and unflinching stares, unveiling a fierce warrior concept for its upcoming digital single “Unbelievable” ahead of its November 13 comeback.
The group rolled out the first concept film and photos for “Unbelievable” on its official social media channels and YouTube from October 30 to November 4, according to Xports News. The new visuals mark a sharp break from the softer image the group has shown so far, presenting a wild and intense girl-crush charm instead.
In the concept film, the members move through darkness cut by light, creating a dreamlike mood, while the photos push the warrior theme further with sharp, spiked ornaments rising behind them. The styling leans on rough-textured leather paired with metallic accessories, giving each member a confident and powerful presence while keeping the group’s visual synergy intact.
The transformation is deliberate. H1-KEY has built its identity around songs about the dreams and love of youth, using that storytelling to connect with listeners. With “Unbelievable,” the group is attempting a bolder shift, using its healthy energy as a base to show a different musical colour and a wider range.
“Unbelievable” will be released on various online music sites at 6 p.m. KST on November 13. It will be the group’s first new release in eight months, following its fifth mini-album “LOVECHAPTER,” which came out in March. The agency has previously described the single as showing a broadened spectrum after eight months of recharging and growth.
That gap matters for the group’s story. H1-KEY debuted in 2022 as a four-member group consisting of Seoi, Riina, Hwiseo and Yel, and has earned steady support at home and abroad for stable vocals and polished performances. Its breakthrough came in 2023 with “Rose Blossom,” a hit written by DAY6 member Young K that brought the group wider recognition.
Since then, the group has continued to frame its music around youth, from songs about first love to the wistful high-teen mood of “LOVECHAPTER.” The warrior concept for “Unbelievable” therefore reads less as a one-off styling choice and more as a test of how far that youth-centred identity can stretch.
No tracklist, music video teaser or further promotional schedule was detailed in the concept reveal. For now, the question for fans is what sound will match the new visuals when “Unbelievable” arrives on November 13.
