Jackson Wang has signed with WME for representation in all areas, The Hollywood Reporter reported exclusively on November 3, 2026. The deal marks a new chapter in the singer’s career, with the report saying he is actively looking to expand into acting as part of his next phase.
According to the report, WME will represent Wang across all areas of his work. He remains affiliated with Team Wang Records and Roc Nation, so the new signing adds a major Hollywood agency to his existing team rather than replacing the companies behind his music career.
The report does not include a separate public statement or direct quote from Wang or WME. The news was presented as an exclusive learned by The Hollywood Reporter, and no additional comment from either side was included in the article.
Wang, 32, is currently starring in an Apple campaign tied to his latest single, “Thank You,” which was released in September. The campaign keeps his music at the center of his current public profile even as the WME signing points toward screen work, although the report does not name any specific acting project.
Wang first rose to fame as a member of K-pop group GOT7 before building a solo career that has crossed over well beyond the K-pop audience. His first solo album, Mirrors, arrived in 2019 and made him the first Chinese solo artist to enter the Billboard 200, according to the report.
His follow-up singles strengthened that crossover. “100 Ways” made him the first Chinese singer to reach the Mediabase U.S. top 40, while “LMLY” has passed 103 million streams on Spotify and reached the Global Viral 50 Chart. He has also collaborated with Ciara, Swae Lee, Major Lazer, Galantis, Gucci Mane, Joji and GoldLink.
Beyond music, Wang founded Team Wang Records and Team Wang Design, and he has become a regular presence at fashion weeks through work with Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Armani, Nike and Air Jordan. He has also worked with Louis Vuitton creative director Pharrell Williams.
The Hong Kong-born artist made history in 2022 as the first Chinese solo artist to perform on the main stage at Coachella, where he brought out Ciara for a performance of “Slow,” and he returned to the festival in 2023 and 2024. With WME now on board, the next step to watch is whether that acting expansion produces a first announced screen role.
